Abstract
In recent years the decreasing of scientific level in geographic publications in noted. The geographers' interests in field studies, in applying cartographic method have descended. Not near every author acting in press follows strictly scientific incentives, subjects of studies as often as not have an excruciating nature. A great harm to the quality of publications is inflicted by possibility to publish without proper approbation, without recension and editing. Among the negative tendencies in professional culture of geographers is ignorance of geographic ideas development history, disregard of predecessors' works, arbitrary use of established scientific terms, etc. Negotiation of concerned tendencies will mostly depend on through improvement of scientific manpower training. With that, the responsibility of editors and editorial boards of scientific publications, that must, not bating demands on quality of manuscripts, closely go with apprentice authors and render them an effective assistance.

Abstract
Probabilistic description of spatial-temporal ensemble of hydrometeorological fields requires evaluation of mathematical expectation, dispersion and covariance functions, which depend on spatial coordinates, time and its shift. Due to high dimension of these features, it is expedient to use joint distribution of hydrometeorological value with its derivate, which is applied in theory of stochastic differential equations and theory of runs. The paper gives a consideration to this approach by the examples of ensembles of satellite information on chlorophyll concentration, modular calculation of wind waves' fields, and re-analysis of air temperature and atmosphere pressure.

Abstract
Air temperature and precipitation fluctuations in the European part of Russia of the instrumental observations period (1880-2005) are considered and its comparison versus hemisphere's and global fluctuations of air temperature and precipitation is given. It is shown that a positive trend of air temperature and precipitation is noted in the concerned period. At that, during the period of intensive warming (1976-2005) the increasing of air temperature on the European part of Russia exceeds twice its growth rate in the Northern hemisphere. It is noted that a tendency of precipitation's decreasing has been teething since 1991.
